New beginnings.

For a long time I was doing work that did not really appeal to me. I am happy to say that I am in a place now where I can explore my writing and artistic skills. But there is a lot of catching up to do as well. So I'm really exited to start new.

The Rain and The Tree.

By the side of an ordinary pathway,

Stands a great Banyan tree.

An ordinary one.

Silent, peaceful,

Has he been standing there,

For last 500 years!

Being a spectator,

Of the changing world,

With scars in heart,

And smile on face!



Among all the commotion,

Of the market place

By the pathway,

Among all hues and cries,

Shrills and shouts,

Stands he with peace of mind,

For he is deep into

Colours

There were colours all around me. Wherever I looked, I saw them, flitting around, floating leisurely in the soft sunlight, sitting, standing, rolling, reclining in every conceivable posture. It seemed as if the world was one giant palette with colours in all-possible shades splashed around; some in blotches, some in graceful lines, some as a confused mass, and some like a flowing trousseau. I had never seen so much colour together. I wanted to feel them, touch them, hold them, and be one…
